VIDEO: Sanyuka TV Journalist Survives Shocking Assault by Alien Skin’s Men at Purple Party Event

Fort Portal, Uganda – In a shocking turn of events at the Purple Party event held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, Sanyuka TV entertainment journalist Sandra Lian, known by her real name Sandra Nabiyiki, narrowly escaped a violent confrontation with members of Alien Skin’s music camp. The incident occurred at Buhinga Stadium during the Tooro Tour, which featured an array of talented musicians including Alien Skin, Crysto Panda, Fik Fameica, Karole Kasita, B2C Entertainment, and many others.

Sandra Lian, despite her long-standing animosity with Alien Skin’s music camp due to her consistently critical comments about him during their show, was part of the hosting team for the event. However, when Alien Skin was set to perform, his entourage refused to share the stage with the Sanyuka TV journalist.

In a video clip obtained by Nile Reports, the disturbing scene unfolded as Sandra Lian was forcefully pulled away from the podium by her clothes, in a highly disrespectful manner. Onlookers at the event can be seen attempting to intervene and restore order amidst the chaos.

The Purple Party event organizers have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. However, it is expected that they will address the issue and take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

As the music industry grapples with this controversy, questions arise about the responsibility of artists to respect the media’s role in providing fair and objective coverage. The incident serves as a reminder that freedom of expression and professional conduct should be upheld by all parties involved, fostering an environment of mutual respect and cooperation.

The fallout from this incident is likely to have lasting consequences for Alien Skin’s reputation and may prompt a wider conversation about the treatment of journalists within the entertainment industry.
