Bobi Wine mourns death of Alex Oringa, one of NUP UK Diaspora Chapter’s strongest pillar

The National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, has mourned the death of Alex Oringa, one of the strongest pillars of the party’s UK Diaspora Chapter.

In a statement on Twitter, Bobi Wine described Oringa as a “distinguished lawyer who used his knowledge to fight for justice and fairness.”

“It is with great sadness that I learnt of the untimely passing of comrade Alex Oringa, one of the strongest pillars of the UK Diaspora Chapter of the @NUP_Ug,” Bobi Wine said.

“He was also a distinguished lawyer who used his knowledge to fight for justice and fairness. Deepest condolences to his family, friends and the fraternity of all those involved in the fight for freedom and democracy. May his soul rest in peace”

Oringa’s death is a big loss to the NUP and the struggle for democracy in Uganda. He was a dedicated and passionate advocate for justice and fairness, and his contributions will be remembered for many years to come.
