Bobi Wine Sends a stern Warning to Kenyans Over Term Limit Removal Plans.
National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has strongly warned Kenyan nationals to be vigilant and stand against plans being mooted by Kenyan lawmaker to remove term limits from the constitution.
Bobi Wine’s caution follows media reports that a Kenyan member of parliament for Fafi County Salah Yakub revealed plans to seek the scrapping of presidential term limits from the Kenyan constitution.
Yakub disclosed that some United Democratic Alliance (UDA) lawmakers are working on a constitutional amendment Bill to replace the two-term limit with an age limit of 75 years.
However, the firebrand politician Bobi Wine has asked the Kenyans to Save their country from “Musevenism”, stressing that this may come off as a lone MP making a ridiculous suggestion, but this is how it starts just like Museveni began schemes to remove term and age limits.
Dear Kenyans, BE VIGILANT. Save your country from Musevenism. This may come off as a lone MP making a ridiculous suggestion, but this is how it starts. Exactly how Museveni began schemes to remove TERM and AGE limits. Defend your Constitution before it's too weak to defend you! pic.twitter.com/43qPzK3nDq

NUP General Secretary, David Lewis Lubongoya has recalled that in order Museveni to remove term limits in Uganda, he used James Kakooza and then used Raphael Magezi for term limits, though at First, they appeared as random MPs making proposals. Only to turn out that plots were birthed in State House
To remove term limits, Gen. Museveni used James Kakooza. For term limits, he used Raphael Magezi. First, they appeared as random MPs making proposals. Turned out the plots were birthed in State House. I hope our Kenyan brothers are not falling in the same trap. They won't like it pic.twitter.com/wXXzxKzH7C
