Deputy Lord Mayor who serves also as Makerere University female Councilor Doreen Nyanjura has shocked netizens after declaring her interest to contest for the forthcoming 2026 general presidential elections should Musev’ni’s son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba appear on the ballot paper.
Nyanjura, in her tweet stresses that if Gen. Muhoozi contests for the high office in Uganda, she will have no option but to contest against the former commander of Uganda land forces.
If @mkainerugaba is Standing for Presidency in 2026, I am contesting against him.

Yesterday 14th Oct. the first son in his tweet hinted on running for presidency come after his father, saying that he would defeat any opposition in a general election.

Today, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba travelled to Rwanda’s Capital Kigali where he’s expected to meet with the country’s head of state.
Muhoozi was in company with motor mouth former journalist and political specialist Andrew Mwenda who is a great friend to the Rwandan Leader.
