UGANDANS STRANDED IN ARAB COUNTRIES: Bobi Wine Donates 10m To Help Ugandans Detained in Dubai

National Unity Platform (NUP) party president name Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has donated Shs10 million as his party undertakes efforts of returning Ugandans who are detained in Dubai.
According to a brief statement posted on NUP’s social media handle, the party is undertaking a one-week campaign in order to raise money for the cause.
“We are undertaking a one-week campaign as the National Unity Platform in order to raise money for the cause,” reads the party statement in part.
Last week, Bobi wine and his singing patterner Nubian Li were supposed to hold concerts in Dubai to raise money for the stranded Ugandans in Arab countries, however the concerts were canceled by Dubai authorities under unclear circumstances
According to Bobi Wine, over 200 Ugandans are detained at Al Awir Deportation jail in Dubai and most of them are girls- away from the other 20 detention centers
All they need is a flight ticket back home for those costs approximately 200USD (800K UGX)
